Affiliated with the TC Dance Club International organization, a premier group of dance studios nationwide—but locally owned and operated—TC Dance in Cedar Rapids offers all forms of social and ballroom dance instruction. Since our opening in 1983, TC Dance Club has really become the most fun place to dance in Eastern Iowa! Whether you want to learn to dance by yourself or learn with a group of friends, we offer classes for both.

The TC Dance Club Program consists of individual and group ballroom and Latin dance lessons that are tailored to suit your needs and the experience you want to create, no matter what your age or skill level. TC Dance Club Teaching Methods:
Our teaching system includes a Four Point Method
of regularly scheduled individual instruction lessons as well as group lessons, practice sessions, and fun club parties and social dance events:
Individual Instruction
Individual instruction, one-on-one instruction with you and your instructor, gives you the specialized and personalized attention necessary to look and feel great on the dance floor while developing the ability to lead or follow any partner. This is where we start your dancing and introduce you to the dances you have chosen to develop. Your lessons are always taught at the pace that is comfortable for you.
Group Classes
Group classes are also a necessary and fun part of your instruction because this is where your patterns and dance variety and your technique and style are learned. Equally important, group classes provide you with the opportunity to meet other students with similar dancing goals, develop balance and control, and learn the mechanics of dancing.
Practice Sessions
Practice sessions are a great practical application of what you are learning in your program because they complete the lesson information taught in our private and group lessons. Club Parties & Social Events
Our club parties and social events are designed to give you a chance to use your dancing in more realistic conditions, both here at the club and at various social dance events outside of the club. Light snacks and refreshments are provided at our in-club events.
